Summer Visit is a weekly volunteer teaching program that supports underprivileged children in China. Since 2012, Spring Foundation has incorporated cutting-edge perspectives and techniques in education into the program to deliver the most for our students. In the program, volunteer teachers not only introduce concepts in a traditional classroom setting, but also encourage students to explore endless possibilities, implement their newly-formed ideas, and eventually, present these ideas as a final deliverable.

 

Knowing that true education comes in different forms, we incorporate a wide variety of projects, including themed workshops, field research, and one-on-one mentorship. Through this program, we aspire to teach students to learn proactively and harness their own creativity. Ultimately, we want our students to think beyond their current living environment and go out to a larger world.
